1. Eligibility Window for Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns and exchange requests within **thirty (30) calendar days** from the date your package was delivered. If 30 days have gone by since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
2. Item Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the exact same condition that you received it. It must be **brand new, unopened, and in its original packaging**.
Any items that have been opened, handled, damaged, or altered in a way that prevents them from being resold as new are ineligible for a refund. For safety and collection value integrity, stamps must remain in their original sealed protective wrap or sheets.
3. Return Shipping Costs Allocation
Responsibility for return shipping fees is determined by the reason for the return:
- Buyer's Responsibility: If the return or exchange is due to buyer preference, accidental ordering, or general change of mind, the **buyer is responsible** for purchasing and arranging the return shipping label. Original shipping costs (if applicable) are non-refundable.
- Seller's Responsibility: If the return is due to our mistake (e.g., you received the incorrect stamp design, wrong quantity, or a severely defective item), **Reliable Stamps will cover all return shipping costs**. We will provide a prepaid shipping label via email for your convenience.
4. No Restocking Fees
We believe in fair pricing and exceptional service. Unlike many specialty dealers, **we do not charge any restocking fees** for items returned in accordance with our standard condition policies.
5. Refund Processing & Bank Timelines
Once your return package is received at our facility, it will undergo a standard inspection to verify the item condition. We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund based on this inspection.
If approved, your refund will be automatically processed back to your original method of payment within **two (2) business days**. Please note that while we release funds immediately, the exact time required for the credit to appear on your statement depends entirely on your bank or credit card issuer's internal processing timelines (typically 3 to 7 business days).
6. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return or exchange request, please do not send items back without prior notification. Follow these simple steps:
- Email us at support@reliablestamps.com with your full name, order number, and description/pictures of the item you wish to return.
- Our support team will review your email within 24 hours and issue comprehensive return instructions along with the correct mailing address details.
- Carefully pack the stamps securely to prevent transit damage, and drop the package off at your nearest postal carrier facility.
